Rana’s debut film, Leader is one of the finest political dramas ever to be made in Telugu cinema. The Shekhar Kammula directorial ticked all the right boxes, but owing to the bad release window, it couldn’t make it big at the box office.
Previously, Shekhar had revealed that he does plan to conceive the sequel of Leader.
Cut to now, Rana has affirmed that the sequel of Leader is very much on the cards and it might materialize soon. He stated that Shekhar has already started working on the script for the sequel.
Well, it sure would be interesting to see what Shekhar Kammula and Rana can come up wit this time around.
In one of his previous interviews, Shekhar Kammula said he would like to explore the contemporary political climate in Leader’s sequel. We need to wait and see if he will incorporate the same in the sequel now.
