We all know that Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor will be teaming up with Arjun Reddy director Sandeep Reddy Vanga for his next film, titled Animal. While Parineeti Chopra was roped in to play the female lead, the actress backed out from the movie due to her other priority projects.
The latest report now suggests that the makers have signed South siren Rashmika Mandanna to play the lead opposite Ranbir.
It is known that Rashmika is yet to make her Bollywood debut. Even before her first Hindi film hit the screens, her performance in Pushpa has made her a star in Bollywood as well. She has shot for two Bollywood films but they are yet to release.
The report also suggests that the shoot of Animal will commence from this summer after Ranbir wraps up Luv Ranjan’s next. The film also stars Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol in pivotal roles.
Meanwhile, Rashmika Mandanna will make her Bollywood debut alongside Sidharth Malhotra in ‘Mission Majnu’. She also has ‘Goodbye’ with Amitabh Bachchan in her kitty.
