Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently directed political leadership across the country to adopt fuel-saving practices, particularly by rationalizing convoy usage. Following this directive, administrations in various states have begun implementing suitable measures.
Earlier, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan had already reduced the size of their convoys as part of this initiative.
Now, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has also taken similar steps. He arrived at the Telangana Secretariat today with a significantly reduced convoy, ensuring minimal disruption to public movement.
This move is seen as being in line with the approach encouraged by Prime Minister Modi and also reflects practices adopted by neighboring state leadership in Andhra Pradesh.
In recent months, Revanth Reddy had been receiving public feedback and complaints regarding traffic congestion caused by large convoys. His latest decision is being viewed as a corrective step aimed at easing traffic flow and improving public convenience.
