RGV Focus on Tamil Nadu Politics, Announces Sasikala Biopic

Tamil star Karthi, who made his Telugu debut long back with the successful film Oopiri, has always shown keen interest in doing straight Telugu projects. Continuing that journey, he had earlier signed the HIT franchise and is now part of a new outing directed by Kalyan Shankar.

Interestingly, the project brings together a unique combination of talent behind the scenes as well. Karthik Ghattamaneni, who made his directorial debut with Surya vs Surya and later gained strong recognition with Mirai, is on board as the cinematographer for this film. His involvement is expected to add significant visual value to the project.

Karthik Ghattamaneni also has another commitment with Sithara Entertainments for a separate film. However, he has reportedly shifted his focus to Karthi’s project for now. Earlier, producer Naga Vamsi had announced an animation film titled Vayuputra, to be directed by Chandoo Mondeti, but the project is currently on hold due to budget constraints. Karthik, who was initially associated with that film, has now been moved to this Karthi-starrer.

Meenakshi Chaudhary plays the female lead in this untitled film, and the regular shoot is currently progressing steadily.
