It’s been 12 days ever since SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus ‘RRR’ hit the theaters. The epic period action drama film, starring Ram Charan and Jr NTR, has successfully completed 2 weeks at the box office and we can still find heavy footfalls in theaters. It appears like the movie may not calm down anytime soon.
The big budget movie has already collected over Rs 900 Crore shares worldwide and it is nearing the 1000 Cr mark.
Coming to the native Telugu version, the Rajamouli’s directorial had a solid run at the local place too. The movie collected a whopping Rs 100 crores in the nizam area itself and this is the first movie to achieve this gigantic feat.
Producer DVV Danayya, exhibitors and the distributors have now entered the profit zone with RRR’s monumental run in theaters.
Written by Vijayendra Prasad, the film also features Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, Ray Stevenson, Olivia Morris and Alison Doody in supporting roles.
