Peddi Success Bash: Ram Charan Celebrates as Janhvi Steps Away
Peddi has reportedly turned out to be a super success, and the team celebrated the achievement with a grand party hosted on Monday evening in Hyderabad.
Ram Charan, who was welcomed with chants of “Jai Charan,” thanked the entire team during the event. However, he notably did not mention his leading lady Janhvi Kapoor, a move that is being viewed in the context of the controversy and trolling surrounding her role in the film.
Reports suggest that following the backlash, Janhvi Kapoor chose to skip the success celebrations. Sources close to her also indicate that she may be stepping away from Telugu cinema for a while.
Meanwhile, Ram Charan is reportedly planning to take a three-month break after dedicating over two years to intense preparation and a significant physical transformation for his role in Peddi. His next project, a film with director Sukumar, is expected to go on floors next year.
On the other hand, Janhvi Kapoor is said to have already moved on from Peddi. Reports suggest she has signed a new project under Yash Raj Films, where she will star opposite Tiger Shroff. She is also reportedly being invited to several podcasts and interviews to discuss her career journey, marking a clear transition beyond Peddi.
