Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is reportedly trying to bring peace between Farhan Akhtar and Ranveer Singh amid the ongoing discussions surrounding Don 3. After earlier reports about Aamir Khan stepping in, Salman has now reportedly spoken to both sides and suggested a closed-door meeting in his presence to sort out the differences amicably.
According to industry buzz, Ranveer Singh even offered to collaborate on another project with Farhan Akhtar and producer Ritesh Sidhwani in the future as a gesture to ease tensions linked to Don 3. However, reports suggest that the proposal was not immediately accepted.
Salman Khan, who shares a close bond with Farhan Akhtar and also maintains a good rapport with Ranveer Singh, is said to have advised Farhan to reconsider Ranveer’s offer positively. Sources claim both parties have agreed to Salman’s suggestion for a personal meeting, though the final outcome is yet to be known.
Meanwhile, Salman is also actively focusing on his ambitious film Maatrubhumi: May War Rest In Peace, which has reportedly been facing multiple challenges during production and post-production stages. In an effort to fine-tune the film, Salman and director Apoorva Lakhia recently organized a private screening for veteran filmmakers Sooraj Barjatya, Subhash Ghai, and Kabir Khan.
Based on the feedback and suggestions from these experienced directors, the film is expected to undergo one more round of edits before locking the final version. Despite several revisions already being completed, the team remains hopeful that the film will be ready for its planned theatrical release in August.
