Released on June 19, the action drama tells the story of a former assassin who is forced to return to her violent past after her family becomes the target of dangerous enemies. Backed by positive word of mouth, the film has maintained a strong theatrical run and outperformed several high-profile Telugu releases.

Within just 13 days, Maa Inti Bangaaram grossed ₹85.27 crore worldwide, making it the highest-grossing female-led Telugu film of the decade. The milestone marks a significant achievement for Samantha and highlights the growing acceptance of women-centric stories among Telugu audiences.

Made on a reported budget of around ₹30 crore, the film has emerged as a major commercial success. It was also released in Tamil under the title Engal Thangam, helping expand its reach beyond the Telugu market.

Produced by Samantha Ruth Prabhu under her banner Tralala Moving Pictures, alongside filmmaker Raj Nidimoru and Himank Duvvuru, the film features Gulshan Devaiah, Diganth Manchale, Sreemukhi, Manjusha Mukkavilli, Gautami, and others in key roles.

With its outstanding box-office performance, Maa Inti Bangaaram has not only delivered one of Samantha’s biggest career hits but has also reinforced the commercial potential of female-led films in Telugu cinema.
