Sunday evening turned more exciting for fans as Pawan Kalyan Creative Works shared a new picture featuring Power Star Pawan Kalyan and director Sujeeth in a discussion reportedly about OG 2. The image has quickly gone viral, sparking fresh curiosity around the much-awaited sequel.

OG remains one of Pawan Kalyan’s biggest hits and his most stylish outing to date, which naturally makes the sequel one of the most anticipated projects among fans. However, what caught attention is the absence of any update regarding the project from DVV Cinemas, which originally produced OG.

Industry buzz suggests that producer Danayya may no longer be associated with the sequel. Reports also hint at creative differences between Pawan Kalyan and the production house regarding the handling of OG.

It is said that during the final stages of the first film, the Japan schedule faced financial constraints, with the producer reportedly unable to extend further funding. Director Sujeeth is believed to have personally stepped in, even conducting a guerrilla-style shoot in Japan with a minimal crew to complete the portions. Earlier, there were also reports that Sujeeth made personal sacrifices to ensure the film’s completion, which later earned him strong appreciation from Pawan Kalyan.

Following these developments, it is now being speculated that Pawan Kalyan and Sujeeth have decided to move forward with the sequel without the earlier production backing.

Buzz in the industry indicates that Pawan Kalyan Creative Works, along with People Media Factory, may jointly produce OG 2. An official announcement is expected at the right time, while Pawan Kalyan Creative Works is likely to handle future updates related to the project.
