Legendary filmmaker Singeetham Sreenivasa Rao’s ambitious project Sing Geetham is gearing up for release on June 11.
Recently, the team introduced the film’s lead cast at a promotional event held in Vizag. Interestingly, all three lead roles are played by fresh newcomers, marking a strong debut platform for new talent.
Vizag-based youngster Ayaan is making his debut as the hero, portraying the character Prathap. In the introductory video, Singeetham shared that although Prathap was originally written as a gambler, he later shaped the role into a more lively and energetic personality to bring out a different charm on screen. The video also featured a mix of behind-the-scenes footage, rehearsals, and fun moments of Ayaan during the shoot.
The makers also introduced Ahilya, who plays Gauri, a sharp and empathetic character, while Shalini takes on the role of the antagonist Renu.
Music composer Devi Sri Prasad, who joined the event through a video message, praised the film and said that Singeetham Sreenivasa Rao himself is the biggest attraction of the project. He added that working on Sing Geetham has been a deeply rewarding experience, and highlighted that all three newcomers have delivered impressive performances, even lending their own voices for parts of the film.
