Singer Gets Trolled Over Tweet about Caste

Once a popular singer, Smita is hardly known to the current generation. The pop singer and playback singer is now getting trolled over her sly tweet that mentions about caste.

Anyone who follows her tweets, it is pretty evident that she is a die-hard fan of Chandrababu Naidu and his party.

She posted a poem written by famous Telugu poet Gurram Jashuva on Twitter saying that those lines are true.

The poem says that one who lacks character raises the umbrella of caste, the one lacks humanity covers with the mask of religion.

Though she didn’t mention beyond the words that “Idi Nijam”, it was clear that her sly tweet is about Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy who lambasted State Election Commissioner Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar for postponing local body elections.

The Chief Minister accused him of acting at the behest of the leader of opposition N. Chandrababu Naidu as both of them belong to the same caste.

Smita posted this tweet a day after this controversy. So, her followers started trolling her.

Several of them termed that she herself is a caste fanatic. They alleged that whenever Chandrababu Naidu lands in trouble she tweets defending him.

She has regularly been tweeting against YS Jagan Mohan government’s decision of shifting the capital.

It is no secret that she also belongs to the same caste of Mr.Naidu. And her ‘neeti suthralu’ tweet didn’t go well with her followers. She is now getting trolled.
