SITA Trailer: Familiar Setting, Interesting Characters

Teja’s upcoming film SITA has interesting lead characters in a familiar setting. Contract marriage seems to be the theme with a villain modeled after Ravana.

Here Rama (Bellamkonda Srinivas) is an innocent yet a strong guy, while Sita (Kajal) is a selfish and arrogant lady.

Ravana (Sonu Sood) comes to take away SITA either hook or by crook. Teja has given away the plot of SITA in the trailer by showing key scenes and dialogues. However, ot still intrigues the viewers to know the complete story of it.

Kajal seems to have gotten an author backed role while Bellamkomda looks different from his previous films. We have to wair for the full feature to see if he has pulled it or not.

Sonu Sood is good as the bad guy and dialogues are raw and striking compared to other mainstream movies.

SITA promises to be a contemporary film with regular themes and setting.

Has Teja delivered another mass entertainer like Nene Raju Nene Mantri? We will know it on May 24. The film is bankrolled by AK Entertainments.

Two Telugu Films Pay Tribute to Legends

This month has brought a rare and heartwarming coincidence for Telugu cinema, with two films emerging as heartfelt tributes to two of the industry’s most revered filmmakers.

One of them is Sing Geetham, directed by the legendary Singeetam Srinivasa Rao himself at the age of 94. Produced by Nag Ashwin, the film is being seen as a celebration of the veteran filmmaker’s illustrious journey and remarkable contribution to Indian cinema. Reports suggest that Sing Geetham features references and songs from the cult classic Aditya 369, adding a nostalgic touch to the tribute.

The other film is Maa Inti Bangaram, which hit the screens today with Samantha in the lead role. Directed by Nandini Reddy and produced by Raj Nidimoru, the film lovingly pays homage to legendary filmmaker Bapu. The opening credits feature Bapu’s iconic illustrations recreated through animation, evoking fond memories among audiences.

Further enhancing the tribute, the timeless song “Mutyamanta Pasupu Mukhamanta Chaaya” from Mutyala Muggu has also been incorporated into the film, celebrating Bapu’s enduring artistic legacy.

Interestingly, though made independently, both Sing Geetham and Maa Inti Bangaram have turned into beautiful celebrations of two towering legends who left an indelible mark on Telugu cinema.
