Legendary director Subhash Ghai, known for films like Taal, is now facing the music. A TV serial actress, Kate Sharma, has now accused that he asked her to massage one day in front of his friends. As he happens to be launching her on the silver screen in his next film, the actress obliged to massage, but later he’s said to have started touching her private parts inappropriately.

In her complaint to police, Kate Sharma also alleged that Subhash Ghai threatened to cancel her launch if she refuses to stay with him for a night. Before Kate Sharma, another actress alleged that Ghai has allegedly spiked her drink and assaulted her sexually.

Responding on these allegations, the legendary director stated that he’s a huge supporter of #MeToo movement and regarding the police complaint he exuded confidence that his lawyers will take care.

Neetu Kapoor has finally responded to the criticism she faced after returning to work following the death of her husband, legendary actor Rishi Kapoor. The actress revealed that stepping back into films and television was not about moving on quickly, but about saving herself from loneliness and emotional collapse.

Neetu shared that staying alone within the four walls of her home after Rishi Kapoor’s passing felt unbearable. She admitted that if she had remained idle, his memories would have pulled her deeper into depression. To keep herself mentally strong and distracted from the pain, she decided to return to shoots, reality shows, and professional commitments. According to her, work became a form of therapy that helped her slowly heal emotionally.

The veteran actress also made a shocking confession about struggling with alcohol during the difficult phase. Neetu revealed that for the first few months after Rishi Kapoor’s death, she spent most of her time in an intoxicated state. Even though her children, Ranbir Kapoor and Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, were by her side, she said nothing could fill the emptiness left behind by her husband. Sleepless nights and constant memories of their life together pushed her toward that habit, though she later realized it was not the right path.

Speaking about the trolling she received on social media, Neetu Kapoor said that just because she smiles in public does not mean she has forgotten her pain. She emphasized that she loved her husband deeply, but also had to learn how to live without him. The actress stated that sitting at home and crying endlessly would not bring a loved one back, and instead would only destroy one’s own life. She added that only those who experience such loss can truly understand the pain behind it.

Neetu also said that returning to acting gave her a chance to reconnect with normal life again. Working in films like Jugjugg Jeeyo helped her regain emotional balance and confidence. She mentioned that Rishi Kapoor always wanted her to stay happy, and she believes she is living according to his wishes. Currently, Neetu enjoys spending time with her granddaughter Raha while continuing to take up acting projects whenever needed.
