Vijay Deverakonda is turning his promise into reality by awarding merit scholarships to 180 high-achieving students from Achampeta mandal. The initiative, supported by Rashmika Mandanna, aims to encourage and recognize academic excellence among youngsters in the region.

Sharing the list of selected students on X, Vijay and Rashmika participated in the event and interacted with students, parents, and the local community. The programme holds special significance for Vijay, as it is centered around Tummanpet, the native village of his father, Govardhan Rao.

Calling the occasion an emotional milestone, Vijay said he was happy to return to his roots and celebrate the achievements of talented students. He also revealed his larger vision for the initiative.

“We started supporting talented students by providing scholarships in my village. Gradually, I want to extend this to other mandals in the district, and one day, I hope to take this initiative across Telangana,” Vijay said.

The actor also shared an inspiring message, saying that neither he nor Rashmika were academic toppers, but discipline and perseverance can help anyone achieve success. He added that he wants to celebrate young talent and be a part of shaping their future.

Rashmika Mandanna also encouraged the students, emphasizing the importance of learning from both success and failure.

“In life, we win sometimes and fail at other times. What matters most is learning from every experience,” she said.

The initiative has been widely appreciated, with many praising the duo for encouraging education and empowering young minds.
