There was a time when Sunil was considered as the top comedian in Tollywood after Brahmanandam. He was seen in almost every film till 2010. He enjoyed a stupendous craze as a comedian but his luck changed after he became a hero. After a few hits initially, he failed to deliver impressive films and quickly went out of shape too. He lost his comic timing and many thought he would fade away. But he impressed everyone as a villain in movies like ‘Color Photo’ and ‘Pushpa’. He is now handling both comedy and villain roles simultaneously and became busy again.
What’s more interesting is the fact that he is getting more challenging roles in Tamil compared to Telugu. While he is getting regular comedy roles and small characters in big films here, the well-known actor’s villainous act in ‘Pushpa’ is bringing him a lot of offers in Kollywood.
It has been revealed that he is a part of superstar Rajnikanth’s upcoming movie ‘Jailer’ and he is also playing a key role in Siva Karthikeyan’s ‘Maaveeran’. Apart from these two, he is also doing an important role in Karthi’s interesting flick ‘Japan’. The latest announcement showcases that he has been roped into action hero Vishal’s upcoming movie ‘Mark Anthony’. The official news is out and this movie is written as well as directed by Adhik Ravichandran. SJ Suriya is also a part of this movie.
Since it is a Trivikram film, Sunil will be seen in #SSMB28. He is also a part of Ram Charan-Shankar’s project and #NTR30 with Koratala Siva. It looks like Sunil is becoming busy with good roles in Telugu as well as Tamil these days.
