There are several heroines who are ruling the roost in Telugu for several years and is getting Crores of remuneration. But some of them could not dub themselves for their roles and are still relying on dubbing artistes. However Malayalam Superstar Mohanlal had put all of them in shame.
The Superstar had started dubbing for his Telugu comeback film, Manamantha and also learned Telugu for that. He is also likely to dub himself for his role in Young Tiger NTR’s Janatha Garage. “Giving voice to Manamantha. It is a pleasure to learn and dub Telugu (sic),” Mohanlal posted in his Twitter account.
Manamantha shooting is complete and is in post production phase. His other film, Janatha Garage is also nearing completion. Janatha Garage is being planned for August 12th as Independence day Special. The Superstar had pinned high hopes on both these films. Mohanlal wants to give his 100% to his roles in both the films.

Veteran filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma may be gearing up for an entirely new chapter in his career. According to reports from the Telugu film industry, the acclaimed director is set to make his debut as a lead actor in an upcoming Telugu film. While the makers are yet to make an official announcement, the reports have already generated considerable buzz among movie lovers.
Ram Gopal Varma is regarded as one of Indian cinema’s most influential filmmakers. He made a sensational directorial debut with Shiva, which redefined Telugu cinema with its realistic storytelling and technical brilliance. He followed it up with several acclaimed films, including Kshana Kshanam, Gaayam, Raatri, and Antham, earning a reputation for his distinctive filmmaking style.
Varma later expanded his career into Bollywood, where he directed several successful films such as Satya, Company, Sarkar, and Run. His crime dramas and gangster films introduced a fresh narrative style that inspired an entire generation of filmmakers. Although his recent ventures have received mixed responses, Varma has continued experimenting with unconventional subjects and storytelling techniques.
After making a cameo appearance in Kalki, the filmmaker is now reportedly preparing to step in front of the camera in a full-fledged lead role. According to industry buzz, the project has been titled Show Man, with the tagline Mad Monster.
Reports further suggest that veteran actor Suman has been approached to play the principal antagonist, setting the stage for an intriguing on-screen clash if the project materialises. The film is expected to be directed by newcomer Nuthan, who will reportedly make his directorial debut with the project. Pre-production work is believed to be progressing, with principal photography likely to commence in the coming months.
If all goes according to plan, the makers are said to be eyeing a Sankranti 2027 theatrical release. However, since neither Ram Gopal Varma nor the production team has officially confirmed the project, these details remain speculative.
Should the reports prove accurate, audiences will witness one of the most unexpected career moves in recent Telugu cinema, as Ram Gopal Varma transitions from being a celebrated filmmaker to playing the protagonist in a feature film.
