The makers of director Venky Atluri’s highly anticipated film Vishwanath & Sons, starring Suriya in the lead role, officially announced that the film will release worldwide on August 14, 2026.

Production house Sithara Entertainments shared the update on social media with a special note for fans, confirming the release date and building further excitement around the project.

Directed by blockbuster filmmaker Venky Atluri and produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya, Vishwanath & Sons is being positioned as a wholesome family entertainer filled with emotions, humour, and heartwarming moments.

The film has already generated strong buzz ever since the release of its teaser. The teaser introduces Suriya as Sanjay Vishwanath, an international pistol shooter who continues to pursue his dreams even in his 40s. Suriya appears in a layered and emotionally rich role, balancing intensity, warmth, and charm with ease.

Adding freshness to the narrative is Mamitha Baiju, whose lively screen presence has caught the attention of audiences. The teaser also hints at an unconventional love story featuring a noticeable age gap, a theme that is expected to be handled with emotional maturity under Venky Atluri’s direction.

The first-look posters featuring Suriya alongside a child instantly struck an emotional chord with fans, bringing back the actor’s vintage family-hero appeal.

After delivering successful films like SIR/Vaathi and Lucky Baskhar, Venky Atluri is once again expected to deliver a feel-good entertainer with strong emotional depth and family values.

The film also features Radhika Sarathkumar and Raveena Tandon in important roles. Music is composed by G.V. Prakash Kumar, while cinematography is handled by Nimish Ravi. Editing is by Navin Nooli, and production design is by Banglan.

Vishwanath & Sons will be distributed in Tamil Nadu by Think Studios, ensuring a grand theatrical release across the state.
