
Tamil Nadu has reportedly undergone a major political reshuffle under the leadership of new Chief Minister Thalapathy Vijay, marking a significant transformation in the state’s governance structure. He has officially announced his full cabinet lineup today, drawing widespread attention across political and public circles.
Chief Minister Joseph Vijay is said to be handling several key portfolios in addition to the CM position, including General Administration, Public Services, and departments related to IAS, IPS, IFS, and district revenue administration. He is also overseeing crucial sectors such as Home Affairs, Police, Special Programme Implementation, Women and Child Welfare, Youth Affairs, Municipal Administration, and Urban Water Supply.
In his cabinet, close associate N. Anand has been assigned the Rural Development and Water Resources portfolio. Adhav Arjuna, whose appointment has sparked public discussion, has been given charge of Public Works and Sports Development.
Dr. K.G. Arunraj will serve as Minister for Health, Medical Education, and Family Welfare, while veteran leader K.A. Sengottaiyan takes charge of Finance. P. Venkataramanan has been assigned Food and Civil Supplies, and R. Nirmalkumar will handle Energy Resources and Law.
Rajmohan has been appointed Minister for School Education, Tamil Development, and Information and Publicity. Dr. T.K. Prabhu will oversee Natural Resources, while Selvi S. Keerthana, a Telugu-origin leader, has been given the Industries portfolio.
