Triptii Dimri, who shot to nationwide fame with Animal and is currently working alongside Prabhas in Spirit, has achieved a major milestone by becoming Victoria’s Secret’s first-ever Indian brand ambassador.
Calling the association both emotional and exciting, Triptii said it feels surreal to represent a brand she has admired for years. She also reflected on how her approach to fashion has evolved over time.
Rather than chasing every new trend, the actress now prefers outfits that align with her personality. According to her, comfort, confidence, and authenticity matter far more than luxury labels or constantly changing fashion trends.
Triptii believes fashion should be an extension of one’s identity. While she collaborates closely with her styling team, she likes to have a personal say in selecting her looks to ensure they feel genuine and comfortable.
She also observed that today’s actors have far greater freedom to express themselves through fashion than ever before. During film promotions, she views clothing as a tool that complements storytelling, but maintains that audiences ultimately remember an actor for their performances, not their wardrobe.
That said, the irony isn’t lost on many. Despite her growing body of work, Triptii’s biggest claim to fame among mainstream audiences continues to be her brief yet widely discussed appearance in Animal—a moment that became a cultural talking point and propelled her into the spotlight, arguably more than any performance or fashion statement since.
