Young Tiger NTR was supposed to join hands with Matala Mantrikudu Trivikram Srinivas after RRR. However, things didn’t work out as planned as the NTR-Trivikram combo got shelved.
After rejecting Trivikram’s project, NTR announced his next with Koratala Siva. In an interview with a leading web portal, Tarak said, after Koratala’s project, he will join forces with Prashanth Neel of K.G.F fame.
Super Star Mahesh Babu came into the picture and the duo collaborated for the third time. The project is tentatively titled SSMB28.
Now media reports are abuzz that the SSMB project is what NTR rejected. Mahesh Babu reportedly gave his nod to the story which was not okayed by Young Tiger. But the film circles have a different version to say.
As per the Film Nagar circles, SSMB is not what Tarak rejected and Guruji prepared a different story for the Superstar and Trivikarm impressed Mahesh with his story and he okayed the script immediately.
SSMB marks the third collaboration of Mahesh and Trivikram. Earlier, the duo worked for Athadu and Khaleja. While Athadu is a commercial success, Khaleja remained a cult classic. SSMB is expected to release in Summer 2022.
