For the past few days, a photo of Sukumar and his student Buchi Babu Sana have been doing rounds on the internet. We can see the ‘Uppena’ director talking about something to Sukumar and with the papers on his side, people started to think that Buchi Babu Sana is giving his input regarding ‘Pushpa: The Rule’. A lot of rumours came out regarding this photo and Buchi Babu decided to give an explanation.

He took to Twitter and posted this picture once again. Along with it, he wrote, “In this photo, my guru Sukumar came to help me in the story discussion of my next movie. I am not at that level where I could sit in the dicussion of Sukumar sir’s story. I can offer nothing but to learn from him.” Hopefully, this will put an end to all the unnecessary stories which are coming out.

Young director Buchi Babu Sana turned a lot of heads with his debut film ‘Uppena’. He is a protege of star writer-director Sukumar and worked under the ‘Arya’ director for many films. Buchi Babu impressed everyone with the way handled such a sensitive story like ‘Uppena’. With the romantic entertainer becoming a blockbuster, he became quite famous among Tollywood fans.

Coming to Sukumar, he is currently giving final touches to ‘Pushpa: The Rule’ before going onto the sets. ‘Pushpa’ is set in the backdrop of red sanders smuggling and it is released on a pan-Indian scale. It was dubbed in Tamil, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam languages. Rashmika played the role of Srivalli in this film while Malayalam star hero Fahadh Faasil played the role of Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat. Actors like Ajay Ghosh, Sunil, Anasuya and others played negative roles in this high-budget film. It became a huge pan-Indian movie and fans are expecting a lot from ‘Pushpa – 2’.

Fans Want Faster Releases from Nani

Nani has been enjoying a remarkable success streak, but there is one topic that has become a major talking point among his fans lately. It is not about his choice of stories or performances—it is about the pace at which his films are reaching the big screen. While Nani was once known for delivering one or even two releases every year, the increasing gap between his recent projects has left a section of his fan base slightly disappointed.

Much of the discussion currently revolves around The Paradise, directed by Srikanth Odela. Ever since its announcement, the film has generated tremendous buzz and is regarded as one of the most anticipated projects in Nani’s career. However, production has reportedly not progressed at the expected pace due to various reasons, resulting in delays that have pushed back its release timeline. As a consequence, the schedules of Nani’s upcoming films have also been affected.

The actor already has multiple projects lined up, including Bloody Romeo with director Sujeeth. But when one film gets delayed, it naturally impacts the planning and execution of the projects that follow. This means fans may have to wait even longer before seeing Nani back on the big screen with new releases.

Interestingly, many believe it is unfair to place the blame solely on the actor. A film’s production depends on several factors, including the director, producer, technical crew, visual effects, and post-production work. A delay in any one of these departments can alter the entire schedule. In that sense, the pace of a film’s completion is not something that rests entirely in the hands of the lead actor.

Fans, however, have a simple request. They hope filmmakers begin projects only after finalising the script, production schedules, and overall planning, ensuring smoother execution and avoiding unnecessary delays. At the same time, they do not want speed to come at the cost of quality.

Nani has built his reputation by consistently choosing strong scripts and delivering quality cinema, which has been the foundation of his success. His fans are clear that while they would love to see him release films more frequently, they do not want him to compromise on content. They are willing to wait for a well-made film, but believe avoidable production delays should be minimised.

Ultimately, the conversation is no longer about Nani slowing down. Instead, fans feel that the production process of his films needs to become more efficient. With better planning and timely execution, they believe audiences can enjoy Nani’s films more regularly without sacrificing the quality that has become his trademark.
