The United States has removed four Indian companies from its sanctions list, offering relief to firms that were previously accused of supplying advanced technology and equipment to support Russia’s military-industrial sector.

According to the US Department of the Treasury, the companies have been deleted from the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC)’s Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons (SDN) List. The four firms are Hyderabad-based RRG Engineering Technologies Private Limited and Lokesh Machines Limited, Ahmedabad-based Galaxy Bearings Ltd, and New Delhi-based Shaurya Aeronautics Private Limited.

Galaxy Bearings Ltd was sanctioned in October 2024 over allegations that it exported high-priority dual-use items, including roller bearings and roller assemblies, to Russian entities.

Shaurya Aeronautics Private Limited had been accused of supplying radar equipment, radio navigation systems, radio remote-control devices and other electrical apparatus to Russia.

RRG Engineering Technologies was alleged to have shipped more than 100 consignments of microelectronics to Arteks Limited Company, a Russia-based entity that had been placed on the SDN list.

Lokesh Machines Limited was also sanctioned over allegations that it supplied machine tools to several Russian manufacturing companies.

With their removal from the OFAC sanctions list, all four Indian companies are no longer designated under the US sanctions regime.
