Will Telangana Allow Premiere Shows For Peddi?

As the release of Peddi draws closer, one topic is dominating conversations among Mega fans — whether the film will get premiere shows in Telangana.

In Andhra Pradesh, there appears to be little tension regarding permissions. According to industry buzz, the process is moving smoothly, with the makers reportedly applying for special show permissions along with a proposed flat ticket price of Rs 600.

There is also speculation within trade circles that the proposal has received initial positive signals, although no official government order has been issued so far.

However, the real hurdle seems to be in Telangana.

Over the past few days, exhibitors and industry stakeholders have reportedly been holding discussions over revenue-sharing concerns, ticket price hikes, and the issue of benefit shows. These discussions are said to be delaying clarity on premiere show permissions.

Interestingly, the Telangana government had earlier approved premiere shows for The Raja Saab starring Prabhas. At the same time, no such controversy surfaced during the release planning of Ustaad Bhagat Singh featuring Pawan Kalyan.

Now, fans are eagerly waiting to see whether Telangana authorities will extend similar permission for Peddi and allow premiere shows ahead of release.
