Will rain play spoilsport for KCR’s public meeting?

CM KCR is all set to address a public meeting in Halia as part of the campaign for the Nagarjunasagar bypoll on Wednesday. The arrangements are all made and a massive mobilization of the crowds is underway. Everything is set. But, there is only one major problem. If the problem occurs, then the crowds may not attend the meet.

The main problem is rain. With weatherman predicting heavy rain on Wednesday, there is anxiousness among the TRS candres. What if it rains either before or during the public meeting that KCR will address. Unfortunately, there are no arrangements at the meeting venue if it rains. The crowd may simply disappear if there is a heavy rain. If that happens, the public meeting will end in a fiasco. There are also problems if there would be a take-off from Hyderabad if there is inclement weather.

Another major issue is the venue is far removed from the main town in Anumula. Making arrangements is problematic. Yet the district administration has made all the necessary arrangements at the venue. Two helipads have been set up for the CM. One only hopes that the rain does not play spoilsport.
