Icon Star Allu Arjun created a huge sensation across the country with ‘Pushpa – The Rise’. The Hindi version alone crossed the 100 crores at the box-office and the movie got over a whopping 300 crores across the world. A lot of cricketers are posting videos doing the ‘Srivalli’ step or pulling off the ‘Thaggedhe Le’ mannerism. The film was uplifted by Allu Arjun’s phenomenal performance and Sukumar’s masterful storytelling. Despite all its brilliance, there were a few drawbacks in the film.
As we know, the entire team worked day and night to release the film on the announced day. They had only a few days for post-production which forced them to work hurriedly. The patchy work was visible in some portions and people felt that the editing and sound designing were not done properly. There were times when the sound was too low which affected some wonderful scenes.
Oscar winner Resul Pookutty was brought onboard for sound designing but it was not up to the mark. There were a few complaints on the background scores of Devi Sri Prasad too but it sounded good while watching it on OTT for some reason. There are rumours that the producers are looking for better options before the start of ‘Pushpa – The Rule’. News is that Resul Pookutty’s team will be replaced and this rumour is getting stronger with each passing day. Also, they are looking to allott ample time for post-production work of the second part. We need to see if there is any replacements in ‘Pushpa’ team or not.
‘Pushpa – The Rise’ is set in the backdrop of red sanders smuggling and it is released on a pan-Indian scale. It was dubbed in Tamil, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam languages. Rashmika played the role of Srivalli in this film while Malayalam star hero Fahadh Faasil played the role of Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat. Actors like Ajay Ghosh, Sunil, Anasuya and others played negative roles in this high-budget film. Sukumar is currently enjoying it and people are hoping that he comes with an even better output for ‘Pushpa – The Rule’. Devi Sri Prasad gave a chartbuster album for ‘Pushpa’. Fahadh Fasil is also going to have more screentime in the second part as per sources. ‘Pushpa – The Rule’ is expected to arrive by the end of this year.
