Bollywood actress Shanaya Kapoor is reportedly set to make her Telugu cinema debut with the much-anticipated sequel Zombie Reddy 2. According to industry sources, the actress is in advanced talks to play the female lead, and an official announcement is expected once the formalities are completed.

If finalized, Shanaya will be paired opposite young sensation Teja Sajja, who headlines the horror-fantasy entertainer. The sequel is being penned by filmmaker Prashant Varma, with the story expected to blend supernatural thrills, humor, and high-voltage entertainment, much like its successful predecessor.

The film is being produced by People Media Factory, which shares a successful association with Teja Sajja. The production house and the actor previously collaborated on the blockbuster Mirai, and are now reuniting for another ambitious project.

Released a few years ago, Zombie Reddy emerged as a commercial success by combining horror, comedy, and action in a refreshing format. The film went on to gain a strong fan following, making its sequel one of the most eagerly awaited projects in Telugu cinema.

If Shanaya Kapoor comes on board, Zombie Reddy 2 will mark her official entry into Tollywood, joining a growing list of Bollywood actresses such as Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Janhvi Kapoor, and Deepika Padukone, who have either made or are expanding their presence in the Telugu film industry.
