Yesteryear Actress Now Villain in Chiru 150th Film !

A shocking theft case involving filmmaker and fashion entrepreneur Rhea Kapoor, daughter of veteran actor Anil Kapoor, has surfaced, with diamond-studded earrings worth ₹1.35 crore reportedly going missing during a trip to New York for a major fashion event.

Celebrity makeup artist Savleen Singh was entrusted with carrying two pairs of rented luxury earrings sourced from Mumbai-based jewellers. The jewellery pieces were packed separately and kept inside her handbag while travelling from Mumbai to New York via Dubai.

According to reports, after checking into a hotel in New York, Savleen opened the boxes to hand over the earrings to another member of the team. To her shock, both boxes were found empty.

The missing ornaments included a diamond-and-emerald earring set valued at ₹66 lakh and another pair worth ₹69 lakh, taking the total value of the missing jewellery to ₹1.35 crore.

Upon returning to Mumbai, Savleen Singh filed a complaint with the police, following which an FIR was registered against an unidentified person.

Investigators are now trying to determine where exactly the theft took place. Authorities are examining multiple possibilities, including Mumbai airport, the flight, the transit halt in Dubai, or after the team reached New York.

The high-value theft has sparked considerable attention, with the investigation currently underway to trace the missing jewellery and identify those responsible.
