YS Jagan released funds for farmers under Rythu Bharosa scheme

AP CM YS Jaganmohan Reddy has released the first tranche of the YSR Raithu Bharosa and PM Kisan scheme to benefit the farmers of AP. Jagan said that half a crore farmers in AP will be benefited from this scheme. Jagan said that, so far, Rs 89,000 crore has been sent directly to the bank accounts of the people of Andhra Pradesh.

In the last 23 months, Rs 17,299 crore has been released under the YSR Raithu Barosa scheme to benefit the farmers of AP. Now, the AP govt has provided financial assistance of Rs 3,928 crore to 52.38 lakh farmers. Out of these 52.38 lakh farmers, 1,86,254 are landless SC, ST, BC, minority, and forest cultivators.
