In a shocking incident, Tiger Baby Digital LLP, the production company owned by Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti, has reportedly become the victim of a major data theft case. As per reports emerging from Bollywood media circles, 66 hard disks containing highly sensitive production material have allegedly gone missing from the company’s office, leading to the arrest of two employees by Bandra police.

The arrested individuals have been identified as Mohammad Shahid Azim Khan and Ritesh Suresh Shah, both of whom were working at the company. The issue reportedly came to light on May 21, when staff members discovered that several hard-disk storage boxes were either empty or damaged. Upon verification, the company found that out of 119 hard disks listed in their official inventory, 66 were missing.

Reports suggest that the stolen hard disks contained crucial production-related data, including raw shooting footage, edited scenes, post-production files, advertising campaign material, backups, archival content, and even completed movie-related data. A significant portion of the missing material is said to be linked to mainstream cinema and OTT projects, including unreleased content.

During the police investigation, the accused allegedly confessed to stealing 24 hard disks over the past five months. The drives were reportedly sold for amounts ranging between Rs. 15,000 and Rs. 20,000 each. The missing data is also believed to include footage from popular projects such as Made in Heaven, starring Sobhita Dhulipala, and the anthology film Ghost Stories.

Police officials have now involved cybercrime experts to investigate whether any of the stolen content was leaked online. Authorities are also probing the possibility of involvement from additional employees or external parties in the data theft operation.
