Actress Trisha Krishnan grabbed attention after attending the swearing-in ceremony of actor-turned-politician Vijay, who officially took oath as the new Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu at Chennai’s Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on Sunday.

Soon after the ceremony, Trisha shared a series of pictures from the event on social media. Dressed in a graceful seafoam-green saree paired with a blouse featuring golden motifs, the actress completed her elegant traditional look with a neat bun adorned with white gajra, subtle makeup, and jewellery studded with red stones.

While her appearance drew praise from fans, it was her caption that sparked massive discussion online. Sharing the photos, Trisha wrote, “The love is always louder,” leading to fresh buzz across social media platforms.

Meanwhile, Vijay is all set to begin his tenure as Chief Minister after his party, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam, secured a major victory in the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections by winning 118 seats. The party also received support from Congress, CPI, CPI(M), VCK, and IUML to comfortably cross the majority mark.

Tamil Nadu Governor R. N. Ravi formally invited Vijay to form the government and asked him to prove his majority in the Assembly before May 13.

Ahead of the historic moment, Vijay’s parents also expressed their happiness. Filmmaker S. A. Chandrasekhar said he was eagerly waiting to watch his son take oath as Chief Minister, while Vijay’s mother Shoba Chandrasekhar called it an emotional occasion, especially as it coincided with Mother’s Day.

With TVK forming the government, Vijay becomes the first leader outside the DMK and AIADMK alliances to head the Tamil Nadu government since 1967.
