Akhil Akkineni’s Lenin witnessed encouraging growth at the box office on its third day, registering a healthy jump in collections after a steady start.

According to early trade estimates, the film collected around Rs 9.65 crore net in India on Day 3, reflecting an 11.6 percent increase over its Day 2 earnings of Rs 8.65 crore. The positive trend helped the film record its highest single-day collection since release.

With approximately 2,324 shows running across the country, Lenin benefited from improved occupancy, taking its three-day India net total to Rs 25.45 crore, while the India gross stands at Rs 29.27 crore.

The film also maintained a steady performance overseas, earning an estimated Rs 2 crore gross on Day 3. This has pushed its international gross to Rs 7.80 crore, resulting in a worldwide gross collection of Rs 37.07 crore in its opening three days.

The Day 3 growth comes as a positive sign for the makers after the film received a mixed response from critics and audiences upon release. Trade analysts will now closely watch its weekday performance, which will play a crucial role in determining the film’s first-week box office prospects.
