A. Revanth Reddy’s political journey from serving as a ZPTC member to becoming the Chief Minister of Telangana has often been described as extraordinary. Yet, going by his latest remarks, it appears that Revanth’s ambitions extend far beyond state politics.

Speaking at a media conclave recently, Revanth Reddy openly expressed his desire to eventually step into national politics after continuing as Telangana’s Chief Minister for the coming years.

“I want to continue as the Chief Minister of Telangana till 2034, and after that, I would like to move into national politics. My political journey has been rewarding, and I want to explore my full potential at the national level,” Revanth reportedly stated during the interaction.

Over the last few years, Revanth has emerged as one of the key faces of the Indian National Congress in Telangana. He is also gradually becoming a prominent campaigner for the party across southern states, strengthening his visibility beyond regional politics.

Political observers believe that if Revanth successfully leads the state government and manages to retain power in the next Telangana Assembly elections, his aspirations for a larger national role could gain significant momentum within the Congress party.

At the same time, discussions about 2034 may still be premature, considering the long political road ahead. For now, Revanth’s immediate focus is expected to remain on governance and securing another term in Telangana, which could ultimately shape the path toward his national ambitions.
