Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan has officially confirmed that he is set to marry his longtime partner, Gauri Spratt, on July 5. The actor shared the happy news while interacting with the media during the screening of Pritam and Pedro in Mumbai on Thursday.
Aamir revealed that the wedding will be a private and intimate ceremony, attended only by close family members and friends. The couple has chosen to host the celebration at Aamir’s residence rather than opting for a grand public event.
Speaking to the media, Aamir said, “Yes, I am getting married on July 5. It will be a very small wedding at home with both our families. It is a very special day for us. We seek everyone’s blessings and prayers for a happy life together.”
The announcement comes months after Aamir introduced Gauri Spratt to the media during his 60th birthday celebrations, confirming their relationship. Since then, the couple has largely kept their personal life away from the spotlight.
This will be Aamir Khan’s third marriage. He was first married to Reena Dutta, with whom he has two children, Junaid and Ira. After their separation, he married filmmaker Kiran Rao in 2005. The couple announced their separation in 2021 but continue to co-parent their son, Azad, while maintaining a cordial relationship.
