Acharya: Covid-19 second wave leaving Koratala Siva worried

Koratala Siva has been working on his ongoing project Acharya for well over three years. The filming of the Chiranjeevi starrer is often postponed and delayed due to various reasons.

Just as everything seemed to be going smoothly and the film is gearing up for release on 13th May, the second wave of COVID-19 is leaving Acharya unit and particularly Koratala Siva very much worried.

Siva wants to complete Acharya shoot at the earliest and he simply can’t afford to spend more time on the project. But if the second wave of COVID is deemed dangerous by the Telangana government, then the chances of imposition of another lockdown are very high. And consequently film shootings will be halted as well. This is leaving Acharya worried and perplexed.

Siva is supposed to work with Allu Arjun for his next and he has been trying to materialize the project and work on the final draft for a long time now. But he is stuck with Acharya for more time than he would have liked.

Acharya is slated for release on 13th of May and Siva will be doing everything he possibly can to make sure the film hits the silver screens as per schedule.
