Lenin was initially slated for a May release but was postponed as the makers cited delays due to Peddi. However, after Peddi itself was pushed further, the team had rescheduled Lenin for June 26.
The new release date was officially announced by Nagarjuna himself, who also urged fans to mark June 26 on their calendars. Despite this, fresh reports indicate that the film may once again be delayed, with July 10 now being considered as a possible release date. An official confirmation from the makers is still awaited.
Lenin marks Akhil’s return to the big screen after a long gap. Bhagyashri Borse plays the female lead, while Murali Kishore is directing the film.
The movie is being produced by Manam Entertainments in association with Sithara Entertainments and presented by Annapurna Studios, with Thaman composing the music.
