AP Govt to launch India’s first Ambulance Network for Animals

The Andhra Pradesh government, which has been giving utmost priority to public health, has also focused on the care and welfare of the animals in the state.

The AP government headed by CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is all set to launch mobile ambulance clinics for animals to help distressed animals and provide them with appropriate animal healthcare.

As per reports, the Animal Husbandry Department has been instructed to set up one Mobile Ambulance Veterinary Clinic at every assembly constituency in the state.

As many as 175 mobile veterinary ambulances will be arranged at every Assembly Constituency on the lines of 108 Services for giving Veterinary services at the doorstep.

Each ambulance consists of one veterinary doctor and one Para-veterinary worker to attend the cases. These ambulances will also have a 24/7 toll-free call centre.
