Political debate in Andhra Pradesh has recently intensified around air travel and flight expenditures, with allegations and counter-allegations dominating the discourse.
YS Jagan has been criticising Chandrababu Naidu, Nara Lokesh, and Pawan Kalyan, accusing them of misusing public funds through private flight usage.
Responding to these claims, the JanaSena leadership has clarified that Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan has not spent a single rupee of government money on personal travel by air. JanaSena leader Nadendla Manohar, speaking to the media, stated that Pawan Kalyan uses his own funds for all private travel and has not drawn any public money for such purposes.
Meanwhile, reports have also surfaced alleging that former Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy spent around ₹222 crore on flight tickets and private travel during his tenure.
As political exchanges continue, JanaSena’s clarification is being seen as a direct response to the ongoing criticism, further escalating the war of words between the ruling and opposition camps over public expenditure and accountability.
