Actress Avika Gor, who rose to fame with the popular television serial Balika Vadhu, is once again making headlines. This time, however, it is not for a film but for her candid reaction to a shocking rumor that once circulated about her. Instead of reacting angrily, Avika surprised many by appreciating the “creativity” behind the gossip, which has now become a talking point on social media.
Avika was recently seen in Ugly Story, starring Nandu and directed by Pranav Swaroop. During the film’s promotions, she opened up about several interesting incidents from her personal life, including a bizarre rumor she faced at the age of 18.
The actress recalled that reports once claimed she was in a relationship with a 32-year-old actor. “They even wrote that we secretly got married and had a child together. On top of that, they added that we were hiding the baby from everyone,” she said with a laugh.
Avika admitted that she was initially shocked after reading the rumor, but later found it amusing because of how detailed and imaginative it was. “I don’t even know when I supposedly fell in love with that actor. We just worked together. But they created an entire love story and even added a child to it. Honestly, people who write such rumors should probably write movie scripts,” she joked.
While most actresses tend to react strongly to such gossip, Avika’s light-hearted response has impressed many netizens.
Speaking about her personal life, Avika also revealed that she is currently living in Bangkok, Thailand. She shared that her husband works in a senior position at a leading travel company there, and the couple decided to shift to Bangkok considering both personal comfort and career opportunities.
The actress further revealed that they have already purchased a new house in Bangkok, and interior work is currently underway. She also promised fans that she would share a house tour video on YouTube once they move into the new home.
Despite relocating to Thailand, Avika clarified that she is not stepping away from films. She said she frequently travels to India for shoots, works for a few days, and returns to Bangkok during weekends.
From being a beloved child artist to balancing a successful career and personal life, Avika Gor continues to evolve gracefully both on and off screen.
