The controversial POCSO case involving Bandi Bhageerath has become one of the most widely discussed issues in Telangana over the past few days. The matter has now reached the Telangana High Court, adding further intensity to the ongoing developments.
Senior advocate Niranjan Reddy, representing Bhageerath, approached the High Court seeking interim bail in an attempt to prevent his immediate arrest in the case. However, the court did not grant relief, making it clear that interim bail cannot be considered at this stage of the investigation.
With Bhageerath reportedly absconding and remaining out of the police’s reach, the rejection of interim bail could increase the chances of his arrest in the coming days. The Telangana government has reportedly directed the police department to intensify search operations and track down the accused.
Following the High Court’s decision, all eyes are now on the Telangana Police to see how swiftly they move forward with the investigation and whether they succeed in locating and arresting Bhageerath soon.
