Chandrababu back to his number-crunching ways

Reeling out statistics is surely a favourite pastime for Telugu Desam Party boss Chandrababu Naidu. He always believed in number crunching. Even his state-wide Quit Jagan Save AP campaign, Chandrababu Naidu is sticking to the oft-repeated screenplay. He organized a photo exhibition at the TDP office the other day.

The only problem is how many people visit the photo exhibition. Non TDP people and the general public do not visit the TDP party office, which is in one corner of the capital region. So, Chandrababu has decided to ensure maximum media mileage for this exhibition. With his supporting media, he wants to get publicity for the event. So, as is his wont, he resorted to number crunching.

He said that during the YSRCP regime, the police have arrested four former Ministers and six former MLAs, all belonging to the TDP. He said that as many as 24 BC leaders were killed during the last three years. Similarly, 2552 farmers and 422 unemployed youths have committed suicide during the YSRCP rule. He said as many as 37 TDP workers and activists were killed.

Chandrababu Naidu further alleged that all those connected with the YS Vivekananda Reddy murder case were dying. He said key witnesses like Srinivas Reddy, Gangireddy and Gangadhara Reddy were killed. He said that the TDP had already warned that those linked to this case would be put to death. He said that the case has put a huge question mark on the credibility of the CBI.
