Even in their senior-most phase—one at 70 and the other at 65—both stars are still delivering whistle-worthy blockbusters that continue to generate massive box office numbers.
Chiranjeevi recently delivered a ₹300+ crore blockbuster with Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu earlier this year. On the other hand, while Akhanda 2 didn’t meet expectations, Nandamuri Balakrishna has consistently proven his strength with successful mass entertainers over the years.
Now, both stars are gearing up for a major moment as their upcoming films are set to be launched on the same day. On May 21st, Chiranjeevi’s next film, directed by KS Bobby and produced by KVN Productions, will be officially launched. Interestingly, on the very same day, Nandamuri Balakrishna’s next project, directed by Koratala Siva, will also be launched.
Both films are said to be high-budget mass entertainers backed by top filmmakers and star power, adding extra buzz to the simultaneous announcements. Industry reports suggest that both projects are aiming for a grand Sankranthi 2027 release, setting the stage for another big box office clash between two Telugu cinema legends.
