Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy paid rich tributes to Telangana youth Koduru Anuroop Reddy, who tragically lost his life while saving three of his friends at Toro Bio Park in Louisiana, USA.
On behalf of the Telangana government and the people of the state, the Chief Minister conveyed his deepest condolences to Anuroop’s parents, his brother Ashrit Reddy, and other family members. In a post shared on ‘X’, the Telangana CMO stated that the Chief Minister prayed for peace to the departed soul and expressed solidarity with the grieving family.
In a message sent to the bereaved family, Revanth Reddy assured that the government would stand firmly with them in this moment of profound grief. He noted that the news of Anuroop’s death on May 29, 2026, has left everyone deeply shocked.
Describing him as a 23-year-old with a bright future, the Chief Minister praised Anuroop for his extraordinary courage, selflessness, and sense of duty. He highlighted that without a moment’s hesitation, Anuroop jumped into the water to rescue his three friends who were drowning. While his heroic act saved their lives, it tragically cost him his own.
The Chief Minister said that the values of humanity, compassion, and bravery displayed by Anuroop stand as a lasting example of supreme sacrifice.
Following his instructions, MP Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy along with several MLAs visited the family and paid their final respects to Anuroop’s mortal remains on Tuesday. They also consoled the grieving family members during this difficult time.
