The much-awaited collaboration between N T Rama Rao Jr and director Prashanth Neel titled Dragon has created strong buzz, especially after the release of its special glimpse on the occasion of NTR’s birthday.

The glimpse introduces the world of the film rather than focusing heavily on hero elevation, which has led to mixed reactions among fans. While some expected a typical mass-hero celebration, others noted the more story-driven approach taken by the team.

In a recent interview, Prashanth Neel explained that this was a conscious creative decision. He said the aim was not just to elevate the hero but to establish the world, characters, and narrative foundation of the film. According to him, this approach helps build a stronger storytelling base for future promotional content, allowing teasers and trailers to focus more on drama and conflict.

Neel also emphasized that this is the first time he has adopted such a strategy, deliberately moving away from conventional hero-centric glimpses. Instead, the focus remains on storytelling, world-building, and character introduction.

He added that having NTR’s support and creative freedom made it possible to experiment with this format. The team believes that allowing the content to speak first will help audiences connect more deeply with the film’s universe.
