Hisense has introduced an innovative smartphone concept, the Hisense A10, featuring a unique dual-display design with a detachable secondary screen. Although the device is yet to be officially launched, it has already attracted attention for its unconventional approach to combining productivity and entertainment in a single device.
The Hisense A10 features a 6.13-inch monochrome e-ink display on the front, offering a paper-like viewing experience similar to dedicated e-book readers. The screen is designed for activities such as reading, note-taking, and studying, while also reducing eye strain and improving battery efficiency.
What sets the device apart is its magnetically attached detachable color LCD display on the rear. Users can easily attach or remove the secondary screen depending on their needs. The removable display is intended for tasks that benefit from a traditional color screen, including watching videos, viewing photos, browsing multimedia content, and running visually rich applications.
The dual-display concept allows the phone to serve two distinct purposes—an energy-efficient reading device and a full-featured multimedia smartphone—without requiring separate gadgets.
Under the hood, the Hisense A10 is powered by an octa-core 4nm processor. While the company has not officially disclosed the chipset, reports suggest it could feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. The smartphone is also expected to support 5G connectivity and Wi-Fi 6 for faster wireless performance.
Hisense has not yet announced an official launch date or complete specifications for the A10. The smartphone is expected to debut first in China, while there is currently no confirmation regarding its availability in India or other international markets.
According to early reports, the Hisense A10 could be priced at around 3,999 yuan (approximately Rs. 56,500), though the final retail price will only be confirmed when the company officially unveils the device.
