Jagan’s ‘Photo in Every Home’ Remark Goes Viral

Former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has once again highlighted his welfare-oriented political vision, reiterating his focus on long-term public connect and governance legacy.

Addressing the media today, Jagan made a striking remark about his wish to remain in public memory. “Nenu chanipoyaka kuda prathi intlo naa photo undali,” he said, expressing his desire to be remembered in every household even after his lifetime.

While the statement reflects a strong emotional aspiration, political observers note that the results of the previous election did not favour his party, which saw a sharp decline from 151 seats to just 11 seats. Analysts suggest that his governance model and welfare policies did not translate into the expected electoral support.

Jagan also commented on the current political timeline, stating that two years of the NDA government have already passed and only three more years remain. He further indicated that the real shift in governance would begin after his planned Padayatra, which he said would commence in about a year and a half.

The YSRCP chief has been consistently referring to this timeline in recent statements, signalling a political comeback strategy centered around mass outreach and ground-level mobilisation. His repeated emphasis on the Padayatra has become a key talking point in Andhra Pradesh politics.

However, whether these reaffirmations and future plans will be enough to revive party strength and reconnect with voters remains to be seen as the political landscape continues to evolve in the state.
