The promotions for the upcoming film “Peddi,” which is set to hit theatres on June 4, are continuing at full speed. The film’s team has been actively promoting the movie across major cities, especially in North India, creating strong buzz ahead of its release. Looking at the current momentum, “Peddi” appears to be gearing up for impressive openings in several key markets.
Recently, the film’s main cast attended a grand press meet in Delhi, where actress Janhvi Kapoor grabbed attention with her interesting comments about working with Ram Charan and director Buchi Babu Sana.
Speaking about her experience on the sets, Janhvi said working with Ram Charan was truly amazing and that she learned a lot by observing his behavior during filming. She revealed that the aggressive and massy attitude seen in the trailer is completely different from how Charan is in real life. According to her, he is extremely calm and composed off-camera.
Janhvi recalled how Ram Charan would patiently listen to choreographer Johnny Master’s instructions during dance rehearsals, while she herself would often feel nervous. She said Charan remains very quiet and reserved on the sets, almost as if he stores all his energy internally. However, the moment the camera starts rolling, he transforms completely and explodes with incredible energy on screen.
The actress expressed admiration for this unique quality of Ram Charan, saying it helped elevate every scene in the film. She also mentioned that audiences would definitely enjoy seeing this fresh and intense side of the actor in “Peddi.”
Talking about her own role, Janhvi revealed that her character in the film is quite bold and different from her previous performances. She described it as a rowdy-type role and said she did not undergo any special preparation for it. Instead, she simply followed director Buchi Babu Sana’s attitude and personality to shape her performance.
Janhvi humorously explained that although Buchi Babu appears very simple, soft-spoken, and quiet on the outside, he actually carries a stylish and energetic attitude within him. She said she constantly observed and copied the director’s mannerisms while performing her role in the film.
The actress also joked that almost everyone in the “Peddi” team eventually became huge fans of Buchi Babu Sana during the shoot. With the film carrying strong expectations and Janhvi appearing in a completely new avatar, audiences are now eager to see how “Peddi” performs at the box office after its release.
