Kavitha Launches Fresh Attack on BRS, KTR

Kalvakuntla Kavitha has intensified her political attack on the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), making a series of explosive allegations against the party she was once a part of. Now leading her own political outfit, the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS), Kavitha appears determined to position herself as one of the strongest critics of the BRS leadership.

Addressing the media, Kavitha alleged that the BRS currently has nearly ₹1,400 crore in its bank accounts and claimed the funds were accumulated through alleged quid pro quo dealings involving contractors from Andhra Pradesh during the party’s tenure in power. She accused the former ruling party of amassing enormous wealth through corruption, though she did not present evidence to support the allegations.

Kavitha also ruled out any possibility of returning to the BRS, stating that she would never rejoin the party under any circumstances. She said she had completely severed ties with the organization, making it clear that reconciliation was no longer an option.

Taking her criticism a step further, Kavitha targeted BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao (KTR), alleging that he recently acquired a newspaper in Telangana for ₹188 crore to promote his political narrative. She has been critical of her brother on several occasions in recent months, and her latest remarks further underline the widening rift within the family.

Kavitha’s latest statements are expected to intensify the political battle in Telangana, with the sharp exchange of allegations adding a new dimension to the evolving political landscape. However, the BRS has not officially responded to her latest claims.
