Andhra Pradesh IT and Human Resources Development Minister Nara Lokesh has grabbed attention on social media with a clever pop culture reference during his official visit to South Korea.

For those unfamiliar, Train to Busan is one of South Korea’s most celebrated action-thriller films, revolving around passengers trapped on a high-speed train during a deadly zombie outbreak. The film has earned global recognition and remains a cult favorite among movie lovers.

Interestingly, Lokesh boarded a train to Busan as part of his official investment outreach program and shared a series of pictures on social media with the caption, “Today I am on a different kind of Train to Busan.” The witty reference instantly caught the attention of netizens, with many appreciating his sense of humor and cinematic touch.

Apart from the catchy caption, Lokesh’s sharp business attire also drew praise. Throughout his South Korea tour, he has been seen sporting elegant black suits, reflecting a professional and confident image as he meets global investors and business leaders.

As part of his Busan itinerary, Lokesh will inaugurate APEX–Korea (Andhra Pradesh External Engagement–Korea), an investor facilitation and outreach cell established under the aegis of the Andhra Pradesh Economic Development Board (APEDB). The initiative aims to strengthen investment ties between Andhra Pradesh and South Korea.

The Minister is also scheduled to participate in a roundtable meeting organized by the Korea Marine Equipment Association (KOMEA). In addition, he will hold discussions with senior representatives from BNK Financial Group, Booyoung Group, and Hyungsang Group to explore potential investment opportunities and deepen bilateral economic cooperation.
