Ahead of the release of the much-anticipated fantasy musical Sing Geetham, the makers unveiled a special video-call interaction featuring SS Rajamouli, Nag Ashwin, and Devi Sri Prasad, who shared their excitement and admiration for the project.

Rajamouli spoke about his long-standing fascination with the imaginative storytelling of legendary filmmaker Singeetham Srinivasa Rao. He recalled first hearing the story idea nearly three decades ago through his brother MM Keeravani and said the concept had left him amazed.

“For a story this wild and imaginative, it needed an equally creative filmmaker like Nag Ashwin,” Rajamouli said, praising the director for taking up such an unconventional project. He also showed his support by purchasing the film’s first ticket.

Nag Ashwin, in turn, thanked Rajamouli and reflected on how his association with Singeetham Srinivasa Rao began during the making of Mahanati. He revealed that the collaboration started with the iconic Maya Bazaar sequence and gradually evolved into backing Sing Geetham.

“What started as a tribute to Singeetham garu eventually became much more. As we explored the story, we realized how fascinating and relevant it was. It’s a film that audiences across generations can connect with and enjoy,” Nag Ashwin said.

Composer Devi Sri Prasad described the film as a refreshing and unique experience. Calling it a true musical, DSP revealed that he had composed nearly 200 tracks even before the shoot commenced.

“Working on a musical film was completely different and immensely enjoyable. Every stage of the process was exciting,” he shared.

Blending music, fantasy, and supernatural elements, Sing Geetham is set to arrive in theatres tomorrow, promising a distinctive cinematic experience.
