The upcoming film Nagabandham, directed by Abhishek Nama and starring Virat Karrna, is steadily generating strong buzz ahead of its theatrical release on July 3.
Backed by NIK Studios, the film has already created curiosity through its posters, glimpse, and songs, which have received a positive response from audiences.
The shoot has been completed, and post-production work is currently in its final stage, with top VFX studios from India working extensively to enhance the visual scale of the film.
Early visuals from the glimpse and songs have impressed viewers, showcasing a grand, fantasy-inspired world designed on a large cinematic scale. In particular, the elaborate Anantha Padmanabha Swamy Temple set has been widely appreciated by those who visited the shooting location, with both the glimpse and the “Namore” song receiving attention for their visual richness.
Recently, the makers released a new poster featuring Virat Karrna in a powerful action sequence. In the image, he appears in a fierce avatar standing in the rain, while a massive cobra coils around his arm, adding a mythological intensity to the scene. He is seen holding an ancient dagger, with a backdrop of chaos, including burning structures and stormy seas.
On the distribution front, Zee Studios has acquired the Hindi theatrical rights, while Amazon Prime Video has secured the OTT streaming rights. The Telugu satellite rights have been acquired by Star Maa.
With promotions expected to pick up pace in the coming days, Nagabandham is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated releases of the season.
